Welcome to Pu'u Menehune with Waimea's most majestic views!

We wish to share with you the story of Pu`u Menehune which was, until recently, pasture owned by Parker Ranch. This pristine, 13 acre ranch parcel located in the heart of “paniola” (Hawaiian cowboy) country is blessed with a beautiful meandering stream and abundant waterfalls and has been entrusted to us. We have done our best to cherish and respect the “aina” (the land). As you will experience when visiting Pu'u Menehune, this area was the summer playground for the Hawaiian Alii (royalty) who came to Waimea for its cool up-slope weather, open spaces, fun outdoor activities, and beautiful vistas. We ask that you join us in cherishing this beautiful land -- truly God's country!

Located on Pu'u Menehune is a beautiful bungalow that dates back to the 1920s. The bungalow was originally part of the historic Waimea Hotel. During World War II, the bungalow was used to house nurses involved in the war effort. In 1999, the bungalow was located on a parcel undergoing re-development and was threatened with demolition. We interceded to save this structure from the wrecking ball and the bungalow was cut into two pieces, relocated to Pu'u Menehune, put back together, and completely renovated with a new roof, antique lighting, new kitchen and bathrooms, and a wrap around porch. You will enjoy complete privacy, with an automatic gate at the entrance to the property.
